Join Union County Firewise and the Northeast Oregon Small Woodlands Association (NEOSWA) for the Woodlands and Wildfire Tour on Saturday, May 3rd at Mt. Emily Recreation Area to learn more about managing your forest to meet your goals, whether that is reducing wildfire risk, improving forest health, enhancing wildlife habitat, or more!

Attendees will learn from experts and partners about:

  • Forest Health

  • Fuels Reduction

  • Forest and Fire Ecology

  • Prescribed Fire

  • Managing for Multiple Land Uses

  • How NEOSWA and Firewise Can Help You

Please note that the tour will be held outdoors and will require moderate walking/hiking; please dress accordingly.
